Kathy Lee Bishop, PT, DPT, CCS

Dr. Bishop began teaching in the Emory Physical Therapy program in 1999. Her career has focused on acute care, early mobilization in the intensive care unit, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and health and wellness. She completed a Master Teaching course in 2012 through Georgia State University. Her textbook with Dr. Dan Malone: Physical Therapy in Acute Care: A Clinician’s Guide published by Slack Incorporated was published in 2006 and presently a 2nd edition is in the works. She volunteers annually to help raise monies and awareness for the American Heart Association.
